Are you curious?

It is in the "Roman History" of Titus Livius we can find the first references to the Barbaresco.
The origins of this wine is a blend of different origin legends, some accounts say that the Gauls have arrived in Italy because they were attracted by the Barbaritium wine, from which derives the current Barbaresco.
Others argue that the name derives from the barbarian hordes Barbaresco that caused the fall of the Roman Empire
