From the vineyard to the table

The story starts in a simple way, with the native varietals of the Langa and Roero regions and vineyards cultivated with loving care. It continues with pure, meticulous vinification, with ageing in oak barrels and with unforgettable Reserves.
Bruno’s art encompasses passion and clear judgement but, above all, the utmost respect for his product.
The Azienda Agricola Falletto Winery comprises twenty hectares of vineyards within the Serralunga d'Alba, La Morra and Barbaresco areas. The vine growing and winemaking processes are followed through with care from the beginning to the end, culminating with vinification and ageing within our cellars in Neive.
Some of our wines are produced with grapes grown by those farmers who have always worked in our winery and whose prestigious vineyards truly deserve the ‘Bruno Giacosa’ label.

Are you curious?

Barbaresco is a red wine and in a way the younger brother of Barolo. Both of these red wines are made in the Piedmont area in Italy and made from the nebbiolo grapes.

While Barolo wines are rich and thick, Barbaresco wines are more elegant and aromatic, though still powerful. Also, while Barolo wines have been around for centuries, the Barbaresco heritage is only a few hundred years old. The Barbaresco area is much smaller than the Barolo area, only 1,200 acres being planted. Barbaresco should be served at 60F and pairs well with grilled meats.
