From the vineyard to the table
In a location eloquently symbolic of Barolo, between Barolo's historical Cannubi hills and La Morra's Brunate, is located the family-run winery which was founded in the early 1930s. The wines are producted exclusively with grapes coming from the vineyards of the property that lies in one of the best positions of La Morra: "crus" Brunate.
The family has used its experience to produce high quality wines while respecting tradition and environment fully. Its work has always been based on few and simple production rules, keeping all the traditional passages that make the wines genuine and unchanged.
The emotional attachment to this land and to these vineyards has been handed down from father to son. Today, Francesco Borgogno directs the winery, flanked by his wife Giuseppina and their sons Giancarlo and Claudio. Together they check every step in the production of their wines starting with the vineyards and following with the winemaking and the care of the cellar.
In addition to Barolo, the company produces also Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo and Langhe Favorita.
