smell: very intense almond flavor, white flower and vanilla

From the vineyard to the table
Roberto Gatti was born in 1953 from a rural family in Cazzago San Martino and a few years later he moved with all his family in Erbusco, true heart of the Franciacorta area. He worked with his father in a popular wine company called Franciacorta; and later he worked independently, for almost 20 years, as a responsible of the wine-cellar and vineyards. In those years he get in touch deeply with the typical Franciacorta viticulture business and its peculiarities. In 1975 he married Andreina and in 1990 they bought 10.000 acres of land in the districts of Adro and Erbusco.
The grapes, rich in sugar, will produce a superb must, that will sparkle in our glass after a long processing and the right period of rest. According to Mr.Gatti’s expectations the hole production for this year will sum up to 300.000 bottles, including 4 types of Franciacorta D.O.C.G. (sparkling white wine) and 4 types of dry wine, 2 reds and 2 whites, including an I.G.T. Merlot.
