The sale of our products is governed exclusively by these general conditions; Winexplorer reserves the right to modify these conditions. New rules’ validity will be effective since the publication of our web site and they will be active from that moment (last update 09/01/2010 - 12:00)

Winexplorer's order process

Orders are operable on-line on the web portal. Web site registration and 18 years old age condition are needed; it is possible to manage own data in own personal area: vital statistics, own orders status, shipping and bill address, etc.

Customers will receive an e-mail for every transition of the own order's status. The bill will be sent by e-mail afterwards the delivery. The received orders will be binding on Winexplorer S.r.l. from the moment you will receive the confirmation by e-mail or by fax certifying that the whole order process has been regularly completed, the payment has been authorized and the products are availables.

Print and keep the order receipt's confirmation.
Please, contact us if you don't receive the e-mail or the fax.
Winexplorer S.r.l. will contact his clients if there will be some problems to fill a received order, even if only temporary, to make the convenient agreements. The customer has the possibility to ask the cancellation, partially or total, of the sent order and the corresponding amount repayment.

Winexplorer S.r.l. will contact its customers if the data are incompletes or not exacts, and could reserve the right of not accepting the order if these data can compromise the right delivery of the products.
There isn't a minimum amount for orders

Filling orders

Purchase order may be placed by telephone or by using the shopping cart. The shopping cart displays the purchased product with the unit price and the complete cost. After choosing the products to buy, the following step is: choosing the payment system, choosing the bill address and the shipping address, the input of a possible coupon. The products shipping take place when the payment is received.

3 - Right of withdrawal:

Purchases from the winexplorer.it web site are subject to Italian Legislative Decree 206/05, that guarantees the right to withdraw, for whatever reason, the purchase contract. The customer has the right, within ten days, to exercise his right to withdraw without having to pay penalties, except for the return costs which shall be paid by the customer. This period starts from the date of receipt of goods.

To exercise this procedure is necessary to send an e-mail to info@winexplorer.it with this object: "exercise of the right of withdrawal", indicating:
internal order number and order date
the goods' delivery date
the number and the date of the bill
the reason of withdrawal

Within 3 days since the mail has been sent, it is necessary to send a letter addressed to:

As soon as the letter is received, the client will be contacted to receive the communications of shipping procedure.

Returned products must be sent back in their initial packaging .The products must be undamaged, in perfect condition for resale in a perfect state of cleanliness, they should not have been worn or used, nor have suffered any damage. Any damaged, incomplete product, or with a damaged original packaging will not be refunded nor exchanged.

Winexplorer.it will return money to the the customer within 14 working days from receipt of goods.

We reimbursement to Customer the value of the goods shown in the invoice. In the above amount does not include shipping costs. This is in accordance with Article. 5, paragraph 6, Legislative Decree No 185, 22/05/1999

4 - Guarantees:

In case of defective goods:
They can be returned to Winexplorer within 10 days from the delivery.
Shipping and packing charges for the return of the delivered parcel are to be paid by the customer.
The defective goods will be replaced by Winexplorer and sent back or else refunded (in case they are sold out). In case of shipping damaged.

If you receive parcels from Winexplorer visibly damaged by courier,(packing broken or visibly stained by the leakage of wine) can do as follows: return the damaged parcel to the sender writing into the dispatch note "I reserve the right to control the status of goods".

Just in case the broken product is out of stock, you will be contacted for a possible replacement. If you will not find in our catalogue no product in replacement, then Winexplorer will return you the amount paid.
The shipping cost of the return and restitution will be paid by Winexplorer.

5 - Price list

We reserve the right to change prices in the price list at any time, without prior notice to customers, due to market influences or variations to the cost of raw materials.

7 - Payment

We accept payments by:

  • Bank transfer
  • Credit card
  • Cash on delivery

Bank transfer payment system
Select this option at the end of online shopping step and you will receive an order confirmation by mail o by fax. Within 5 day since the recepiton of the confirmation you have to do the bank wire transfer addressed to the beneficiary Winexplorer Srl Via Viotti 2 - 10121 Torino, indicate the order number in the "reason for payment".

Credit cards or Paypal payment system
Payment will take place through the secure server of our partners IwSmile or Cim or Paypal with ssl (128 bit). We will not know your credit card data since you will give them only to our partners.
PayPal helps protect your credit card information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems.

Payment by telephone
You can exceptionally communicate your data by telephone according the telephone shopping rules.

Cash on delivery
You will pay directly to the transporter that will deliver your goods, the transporter will accept only cash and will not deliver the goods in case of missing payment. For this payment a surcharge equal to 5 euro + VAT is applied.
Cash on delivery is not applicable for payments that exceed 200 euro + VAT.

Transport costs and delivery conditions

All Winexplorer shipments are entrusted to the best courier: SDA, DHL Express, UPS e Mail Boxes Etc. The shipping prices vary according to destination and the weight of the goods ordered and are free exceeding a certain total.
The order payed by credit card will be fulfilled according the order confirmation data set by e-mail or fax.

Delivery time

Deliveries will be completed within a period of 1-3 working days for Italy, 2-3 weeks for Europe from the date of occurred shipment (notified by email).
We'll send you an e-mail as soon as the shipments will start from our warehouse.

Transport costs for Italy:
12,50 € minimum chargeable per 1 bottle
If a promotion offers free shipping 0,00 € will be added for any item added to promotion

Transport costs for Europe:
19€ fixed cost for any amount of wine

10 - Personal data protection

Register yourself and buying on our website www.winexplorer.it your data are safe. Data about our customers are a relevant part of our company patrimony so to sale them to third parts is excluded.
